Pastor Theodore R. Nicholson

Pastor Theodore R. Nicholson, born in Norfolk, V.A., was known in his early career for his notable achievements and recognition in, both, the United States Military and Corporate America.

Though he received numerous awards and recognition and it appeared that he was a happy man; true happiness and inner peace were not blessings that he was afforded. Great high and deep lows, loneliness, and failures had plagued him as a result of achieving the successes he had obtained. In the recesses of his mind and his soul, he believed and could hear God was calling. Eventually, he submitted to the Will of God to begin down a path that was aligned with God’s calling and purpose for his life.

Pastor Nicholson of Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church has committed himself in diligent service to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Church is in a day and time when many are looking for a “religious show” and to be entertained by a version of the Word of God that aligns with people’s individual desires. Under God’s divine leadership, Pastor Nicholson is dedicated to professing the theology of Jesus Christ crucified and resurrected- the unadulterated; spirit-filled Word of God. This theology is giving way to a congregation growing in salvation and commitment to God as a path to happiness and favor.
