Youth Involvement at
Greater Faith Missionary Baptist Church

The adults Pastor Nicholson entrusts to steward the Youth Ministry provide a stimulating, challenging, and encouraging atmosphere that fosters communication skills, personal development, and development of Christian character. Whether young people are participating in Choir, Usher Ministry, Praise Dance, or being trained to play leading roles in Sunday fellowships; we welcome you and your family’s presence. The intent of Youth Ministry involvement is to increase Christian understanding through providing experiences and examples of responsible and victorious living, working in cooperation with others, and seeing the true value of faith in Jesus Christ.

Parents/ guardians are encouraged to support their children’s involvement in Youth Ministry by accepting responsibility for the following commitments:

• Ensuring the child’s timely presence at scheduled rehearsals, meetings, and practices.

• Participating in Christian community building activities.

• Volunteering time to be present to support Youth Ministry activities.
